Free Press revisited


When the Founding Fathers and Mothers of Germany´s constitution settled down to distill a new democratic foundation from the lessons of three bygone German States in less than fifty years, they made a number of good points. One was the commitment, that War should never again emerge from German soil. Another was the inviolability of the dignity of men and the liberties based thereon.

Freedom of speech and a free press is one of the most valued ones. For a good reason, as we can see here :(
