Once more, dear friends, once more..

Another short business trip to London, the usual bother with flight security, a nice pub dinner with Treacle Sponge to follow (yum!), sleep-over at a nice but incredibly bland business hotel, good meeting with clients etc. and back.

No photos from old Thiefrow at all (funny that, they did not mind at Frankfurt Airport, as long as I stayed away from security installations or staff), but at least these two for the record:

Quote of the day?

Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There is a tiny splinter group, of course, that believes that you can do these things. Among them are a few Texas oil millionaires, and an occasional politician or businessman from other areas. Their number is negligible and they are stupid.

Improving one´s image

In a brisk move, Poland´s Prime Minster, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, has issued a statement through his press officer to the effect that the Prime Minister is not to be photographed in profile.

Perhaps he should work more on his profile than his image, one wonders.
