I´m back

After nearly two weeks of absence (most of it vacation, I´m back.

Lots of travelling, e.g. to the battlefield of Verdun, not really enough sleep (after all, my time off) and many things more.

What happened in the mean time?

Germany had federal election, which did not really effect a clear decision on a new gouvernment, leaving the Social Democrats and the Christian Democrats basically on par.

More hurricanes, more political upheaval about that.

Well, give me a bit for breather, and I will be back on the boards.

New Orleans looking pretty bad

I´m not going to recount all the bad news. After some gloating from oddball politicians, Germans reacted in the usual way: sending money and oil.

The good thing is, the USofA is hardly any odd 3rd world country that has a hard time to cope with such a calamity. Or is it?
